Celebrating 40 years of tradition, hard work, family and historic ranches.

The Texas Ranch Roundup is the “original” event designed to replicate the big cattle roundups of the late 1800s and early 1900s, and, in 1981 was the first of the hundreds of ranch rodeos that now occur all over North America.

Texas Ranch Roundup

We sure missed the fun and fellowship we always have at Texas Ranch Roundup. Thankful for the R. A. Brown Ranch and the other ranches that make our event so special. Looking forward to next year! What kind of conversations are you having these days? During this most unusual time in history, we frequently find ourselves contemplating the future and what it will look like and feel like once "this too" passes.

For forty years we have celebrated tradition, hard work and history through participation in the #TexasRanchRoundup during this week in August. This “original” event designed to replicate the big cattle roundups of the late 1800s and early 1900s, and, in 1981 was the first of the hundreds of ranch rodeos that now occur all over North America.

Although Covid has wiped out our time together, it hasn't taken our interest and willingness to support the charities that benefit from it. God knew how to get our hearts and minds off of our circumstances and on to what really mattered when the Word was penned.

"Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work."

Consider starting your week by finding someone or someplace that needs your time, your talents or your money. It'll make your day better, He promised.

Another one bites the dust... I thought ranchers and cowboys stood up to government overreach...

Our church just cancelled Cow Camp and Miss Rodeo American just cancelled the 2021 Pageant. Never in my life have I heard such bs!

I knew this had to be coming, it’s sad but the correct thing to do. Keep your head up, don’t let the angry people get you down. No one knows how much love and work goes into an event like this but others that help with huge events. We all will be back next year. ❤️

Sad and getting ridiculous !!!

Can’t believe it! Mercy. Can someone explain why the new dates are in July next year?? It’s always in August.

Awwww

I know what a hard and thoughtful decision this was for all involved. I know what a financial burden this will put on the Rehab too. We are praying for the Rehab Center and all those who work for and rely on this wonderful organization!
